At over 800 acres, the beautiful Oak Point Nature Preserve will be host to the Plano Half Marathon. The course will showcase some of the best urban park trails in the Dallas/Fort Worth area while winding through woodland oaks, blackland prairie, along side creeks, city streets and more. The entire course will be on paved trails and city streets.
After the race kick back and relax. The start/finish will be staged from the Oak Point Amphitheater. Participants will have access to food, beer, music and more.
If you are looking for a beautiful course designed for PRs, then this is the race for you.
This is an environmentally friendly race and it is our goal to keep the trails litter free to preserve their beauty. Cups won't be supplied during this racing event. Please bring your refillable water bottles and we will refill them at the aid stations.

Plano Artfest is a FREE community event built around artistic inclusiveness, creative curiosities, and cultural connection. The 2019 festival will include a week of community art programming that culminates in a two-day festival in the Downtown Plano Arts District. There will be live music, contemporary art installations, performances from local arts groups, a makers market of craftsman and artisans, family chalk art, a kids zone with bounce houses, and much more. Come let your creativity loose!
